In your market, do you have any or know any listing agents who are friendly to VA Home Buyers???  I know in the Arizona market, there are a few and am looking for members to mention any of those agents here.  For example, in Arizona there are listing agents who fly the American flag in front of all of their listings, as well as some who show (and state) preferential treatment for the VA home buyer and offers submitted from VA home buyers... Lets share here and help get more veterans into those homes!!!!

It has been a year since this posting. If you are able to get the veteran before he leaves the service Allied Schools can assist them on getting there license taken care of. Just an idea.

Fort Benning/Columbus, GA I give Veterans a reduced commission rate and relocate families that would like to rent for free. We do all the research, finding all available rentals in the area, (we don't do property management) giving them a packet of the schools in the area of the homes they are interested in, all utilities available in that area, in processing procedures here, etc. we take care of everything so they can concentrate on themselves and personal matters. We also provide a list of all Veteran owned and operated businesses in the local area as well as a list of all Military Spouse home based businesses. Anything we can do to put more money in our Service Members pockets is our mission. We built an amazing network that takes care of our Military just as well as we do.

Love your posts. I am a Broker Realtor with Keller Williams in San Diego. I work with Veterans here in San Diego and love being able to help people who serve our country. They deserve the American dream more then anyone. My preferred lender Vince Giacalone and I have decided to donate a portion of our commissions to the wounded warrior foundation. We encourage others to hop on board and help out Veterans in need. Any charities that you or anyone else could recommend would be great. Keep up the good work David.

Hi Michael, are you speaking about national charities in particular?  Or in California or New Jersey?  I know quite a few veteran charities.  That's wonderful of you to donate and give back. Lord knows the vets could use it!

I wanted to let everyone know that I am now a real estate agent with Keller Williams in New Jersey.  I will be helping Vets with taking less commission for vets and partnering with Bonds of Courage to provide the vets w/a welcome home care basket. Bonds of Courage is a  non-profit to help vets.  Thanks, R

80% of my clients are Veterans. My son is a Combat Engineer, a specialist in the Army and I have numerous nieces and nephews who serve and have served in the armed forces as well. I am so glad that Veterans receive great benefits from VA loans. I am so grateful for their service, for keeping our United States a free nation.

I'm the Veteran Specialist in my company. I am also a Veteran. I am in great demand here in Michigan. And, I would be very proud to assist any veteran here in Michigan with Purchasing or Selling their home. I am continuously searching for new and improved ways to SERVICE our Military Service members and Veterans. I usually give gifts to my Veteran clients; Gas cards($100). Gift cards ($100). Welcome baskets ($500 includes bed-in-a-bag, towels, cleaning items, coffee cups and a gift card of their choice to a nice restaurant for the family). I also provide travel tips and information about their new neighborhood, and the programs and benefits that can help them save money towards their housing.  I am open for any suggestions to help making our Veterans feel welcomed for their service to our country.  tlewis1231@wideopenwest.com                             (734) 341-1316

I am a Realtor Keller Williams Fresno, CA Veteran ready to help.

I have a sincere desire and passion to work with Military families. Having been there myself, I am all to familiar with the PCS move; up close and personal! Many moves over the 21 years of active duty service; prior to my husband retiring from the USMC... OOH RAH!!  I am happy to assist any family coming aboard or leaving 29 Palms Marine Base in sunny California.

I am a Veteran/Realtor and a Certified Veteran Texas Land Board agent(VA friendly)

Aloha,

I am Retired Air Force Veteran and feel at home when working with my Veteran Clients here in Hawaii. My first listing in Hawaii flew the American Flag. The Seller was a Veteran and already had the flag, it is a great Idea to fly on all listings. I always love when an agent has taken the time to get their Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification. I know if they are on the other side of the transaction they have a basic knowledge and heart for our VA clients. Always offer Platinum service to my VA clients. I am new to online conversation so hope I am on the right track. Mahalo, Pamela

I am a VA Friendly Listing agent, with connections to VA Friendly mortgage brokers, attorneys, contractors and home inspectors, etc. in Upstate NY.   Great idea flying a flag in front of the listings.
